I would like to hear your input on MMS (Miracle Mineral Supplement). There has been some extensive discussion on MMS in the Planet Thrive forums. A few specific questions: 1) Why would this kind of oxygenation/ chlorine dioxide be specific to bad microbes, and not kill off all microbes?; 2) Do you think the amount of chlorine gas produced by the creation of this from the baseline sodium chlorite solution is a significant enough amount of chlorine to be toxic?; 3) Do you think the amount of chlorine taken internally by the product is a toxic amount?; 4) If this product does do a big microbe “kill-off” would that subsequently create a kind of “super-bug” paradigm? By that I mean, that if it profoundly kills off lots of microbes, wouldn’t the ones that survive reproduce and create a super-strong bug population within the person? Thank you very much for your time.
Dr. Rea’s response:
I know nothing about MMS. Please check with our nutritionist, Dr. Ron Overberg. He can be reached at drron @ flash.net. From what you describe, I believe that this kind of oxygenation will kill many microbes and that yes, the amount of chlorine produced could be toxic. I would also agree that the amount of chlorine taken internally by this product could be a toxic quantity. Sorry, I don’t know whether a super-bug population would result from the die-off.

I felt I needed to respond to this post…
MMS is one of THE best things to come along I’ve seen in a long time. it IS the real thing, not expensive, not Multi-level, and is non-toxic to ones system.
Part of the reason it works, and will NOT kill off the ‘Good Bacteria’ and good Microbes, is because MMS oxidizes only those microorganisms and inorganic products that have a detrimental effect on the body, and does it naturally… and does this from a Ph standpoint… meaning that it’s naturally designed to kill of pathogens that are acidic, and below a certain Ph level…leaving the good cells intact.
Jim Humble, the inventor, doesn’t sell the MMS, and isn’t in it for money…but rather to help humanity.
If your looking to talk to a doctor, to get info on MMS… I say good luck… as they will not look into it.
There are hundreds of thousands of people taking it…. ands it’s (I know this cause I take it, and have many of my friends on it)
anyway…all the best, and good luck !
