Managing MCS
Managing mold sensitivity during pregnancy

Environmental Health

Dear Dr. Rea,
I realize there is a similar question posted below, but my situation is different in that I am already pregnant. I have mold allergies/sensitivities that had been well-managed by desensitization drops and detox/antifungal herbs, but I can no longer take the latter as I’m told they would endanger the fetus. Do you have any suggestions for me?

Dr. Rea’s response:
Practice good avoidance of chemicals, mold, electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs), and other triggers while pregnant. The desensitization drops you are taking should be okay to continue during pregnancy. I would advise you to stop the herbs.
