a 'show and tell' with some of today's top political commentators
This afternoon at 2 pm PST, Professor Noam Chomsky will be interviewed on air by Cindy Sheehan, also known as the “Peace Mom” after she garnered international attention in 2005 by holding an extended anti-war protest at a makeshift camp outside then President George W. Bush’s Texas ranch following her son Casey’s death in Iraq. Sheehan’s Soapbox radio show offers “the plain, unvarnished truth and interviews” every Sunday afternoon.
Chomsky is an American linguist, author, lecturer, political dissident, anarchist, and libertarian socialist intellectual. He is also an Institute Professor and professor emeritus of linguistics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). On this week’s Soapbox radio show, Sheehan poses questions to Chomsky sent in by her listeners. To tune into the show Sunday afternoon at 2pm PST, go to cindysheehanssoapbox.com.
