Managing MCS
Terrible head pressure from dry cleaning job
with William J. Rea, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.A.E.M.

Environmental Health

Dear Dr. Rea,
Hi, a year ago I was working in a dry cleaners company and was affected by the chemicals there. The one I think what got into me was “perc,” short for tetrachloroethene. Now I have the condition MCS (chemical sensitivity) and I can only eat broccoli, carrots and potatoes without affecting my health. I cannot look after my 3 year old son as I have to stay in the same room to try and progress in my plan but during all this I have a weird pressure in my head. It gets soo bad I just dont want to live anymore but I continue to fight on for my 2 sons and 1 daughter. What is this – have you seen/heard anyone with this pressure in the head? If so can you give details and if you may have any ideas on what is causing this?

Dr. Rea’s response:
Yes, you need to read my books on chemical sensitivity (see side column for links). We see many patients exposed to tetrachloroethene. It can be cleared by 1) avoidance; 2) injection neutralization; 3) nutrition, and 4) sauna.
