Dear Stephen,
What would you suggest I do to treat a thyroid condition in which I have symptoms of both hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism? I was hyperthyroid 16 years ago and successfully treated it by eliminating iodine from my diet. I’m still not able to ingest a lot of iodine without giving myself symptoms. Currently, I have symptoms of hyperthyroidism at night and symptoms of hypothyroidism during the day.

Stephen’s response:
Try ailanthus tincture. Start with 3 drops 3x daily and see how that does for a week. Then work up if necessary, slowly, to a full dropper (30 drops) 3x daily. You may not need to go over 3 drops 3x daily.

Stephen

I am taking Armour Thyroid for Hyperthyroidism due to over medication (I was hypothyroidism). I am also working with a dietitian on eliminating foods that I am sensitive to. She has suggested Cats Claw for a month. I can not find any interaction between Armour Thyroid and Cats Claw, but wanted to check on it.
    Thanks
