Environmental Health

Dear Dr. Rea,
I bought a “safe” house about two years ago and have slept in it off and on. It is all porcelain metal on the inside, and out, it has electricity, and a fully cotton mattress. I believe the foundation sills are made of pressure treated wood. The building is about six years old. For some reason when I sleep in there recently I have a major hangover in the morning, depression and altered mind. My major sensitivities are to mold but chemicals definitely produce altered thinking and awareness for me. I use an air filter in the room but it does not seem to make a difference. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Dr. Rea’s response:
The “safe” house is contaminated. Is it thin or thick porcelain? It takes a long time to outgas thin porcelain. Did the pressure treated wood have arsenic in it? There could also be a problem with EMFs.
