We have worked very hard to make our home as mold and chemically free as possible. We live in a state where people burn wood for heat. All of our neighbors do. Some wood smoke does make it into our house even after extensive sealing. We have Austin air purifier machines running full time. I am being affected by the smoke. Would the AirPura T600 for smoke be useful? Other ideas that would be helpful? Any suggestions for off-gassing plastic from a vapor barrier? Thank you.
Dr. Rea’s response:
I am not familiar with the AirPura T600 model. My suggestion is to see an environmental medicine physician and get neutralized for wood smoke. The only thing I can suggest for off-gassing the plastic from a vapor barrier is…time.
