my mood today

about me
In crisis.. very sick and living (barely) in a motel room & my car. Dx'd with a life threatening autoimmune disease and have severe, severe multiple chemical sensitivity (universal reactor). I had to evacuate my house in Feb.2007..no home since. Have been living with dog Zoe out of a hotel and car for a year. Tried 5 apts., rental houses, etc... nothing remotely tolerable as of yet but hotel is unacceptable also - toxic & dangerous (pesticide in & out, cleaning chems, smokers, paint, ozone machines, etc.), not to mention it is exorbitant. I'm stuck & too sick now to try to dig my way out alone (family can't help, friends MIA, etc.) Exposures are constant at this point..physical & emotional strain beyond comprehension.
I'm desperately trying to find a way out of this place & into somewhere 'safe', to try to find some support from people who 'get it' (my family can't or won't, or both), get some ideas or viable suggestions, find a friend or two...etc. I wonder if anyone relates at all or if I'm barking up yet another wrong tree. If anyone here reads this and feels able or willing to offer some support, advice,.. just human kindness..whatever.. I'll take it with much gratitude.
Thanks for listening.. I'm sorry this was so long.
~Cindy
P.S. I don't have a laptop so if I'm out in the car due to fumes, smokers, etc. in motel, will take a day or so to check mail, just fyi

five things I could not live without
I'm living without 3 of them right now.. a home, safe/breathable air, financial security, faith and love.

Healed & restored by grace. Giving my testimony and giving hope to others suffering so greatly, and helping people with 'unusual', 'unbelievable', under-researched and poorly understood illnesses in getting the help they need & deserve.

love and hope
wednesday december 26th, 2007 5:42AM
Hi cindyb, I can't offer you a home, breathable air, or finances but I can offer some love and hope. Dr. Rea thinks that there is hope of recovery for even the worst cases of MCS. Can you get yourself out of the motel and to a park or other outdoor area every day to breath the cleanest air you can? Are you eating ok? Some small changes could help you start to detox and improve your reactions. There are many people on this site, and elsewhere, who suffer like you and can empathize with your situation. We are all reaching out to you now, can you feel our energy? I know someone who was very, very sick for many years. She is now much better. There is definitely hope. Please don't give up hope. Much peace, Julie send comment back
