my mood today

about me
i have been ill for 5 years...i feel like my life has been robbed from me. i lived in a dorm found to have extreme raw sewage leakage and toxic mold. this is when i first became ill. i also have lyme disease and believe i've had it for 13 years. i am in constant pain and it goes without saying this makes me feel crazy! i really need people to relate to about this and to help me find my way through this maze.
where i used to commonly go on adventures i am now house-ridden a lot so i really need some connection.
i am starting graduate school in the fall at UNC for library science....i applied during my year of remission...now if i don't go my application will be voided so i have to and i am really scared because of my health.

Hi, Sorry to hear you're in so much pain again. My tale of woe is at LindaG user name. I'm moving to Raleigh from pollution central (NYC) to regroup at my parents and would be interested in learning about resources in the NC area for MCS sufferers. Thanks, LindaG send comment back

i like nan goldin's work. i used to be a photographer. i had a great photo book collection. including an autographed book by the late Richard Avedon. i lost the whole collection to mold. ;( send comment back

that sounds just awful about the raw sewage and toxic mold! have you been in touch with any of your dormmates - did anyone else get sick? you've got to get that mold out of you, girl! i lived in a mold-infested apartment and it was not fun. mold is nasty stuff when it gets inside you. i hope you are able to find info and support here. welcome!! send comment back
