Researchers are figuring out how addiction rewires the brain. The goal is to eventually be able to rewire an addicted brain back to the way it was, before the drugs, the cravings, and the self-destruction.
Programs that focus on rewiring the addicted brain and repairing the body on a nutritional/biochemical level seem to have great potential for those with addiction issues—no matter if the addiction is to alcohol, drugs, sex, porn, gambling, or food.
