Is babesia transmitted sexually?

Dear Stephen,
Thank you so much for taking time to answer questions! You have helped me once before. My husband has chronic lyme and we believe I got it from him. I have been taking antibiotics and the herbs recommended in your book. We just realized my husband also has babesia. Can this co-infection also be passed sexually? Should I also be treated for it? Thank you!

Stephen’s response:
I haven’t seen anything in the literature indicating it is transmitted sexually.

This protocol was incredible. After only a few weeks most of my symptoms were gone. After six months all my symptoms were gone… it has given me my life back.

I am almost 6 weeks pregnant. Started azithromycin and ceftin at week 5 but discontinued taking it after 6 days since it gave me stomach upsets and burning sensations in my gut. I will not be able to handle abx and want to switch to herbals to treat my late stage Lyme and babesia. I was in remission before I got pregnant with mild babesia flare ups. How can I get a consultation with you?
