No effect from herbs after one month on protocol

Dear Stephen,
I have been using your protocol for over a month now (I have been working with Tim Scott, whom you recommended to me in a previous email) and have felt no effect from it so far. I have just reached the maximum dosage. How much longer do you recommend I continue? I have had chronic fatigue for at least 25 years and muscle and joint pain for at least 15 years. I have been to every doctor imagineable and nothing has helped me. I am taking the eleuthero tincture and sarsaparilla as well. Help! Thank you.

Stephen’s response:
Are you sure that you do indeed have lyme? Some people do have chronic fatigue accompanied by fibromyalgia that is not lyme induced. In that instance the protocol will not help. In general people do begin to feel positive effects from the protocol within 6-8 weeks.
Stephen

This protocol was incredible. After only a few weeks most of my symptoms were gone. After six months all my symptoms were gone… it has given me my life back.

Why is this herb not effective for people with chronic lyme and what time frame constitutes chronic lyme. Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus) – 1,000mg daily (not to be used in chronic lyme)
    Thank you for your work!

I know this is old but…”Chronic fatigue” is not Lyme disease. Lyme disease is caused by a bacteria. Therefore, the herbs are antibiotics and/or supporting the herbal antibiotics and some side effects. If your “chronic fatigue” is not caused by bacteria (Lyme bacteria), of course an antibacterial Lyme treatment isn’t going to work… The source of your chronic fatigue would need to be uncovered and then a treatment plan put in place for that specific cause and situation.
