Breastmilk for healing?

Dear Stephen,
I have a three year old who contracted lyme through a tick bite. I also have a new baby. Is there anything specifically beneficial about me giving my toddler some breastmilk to help him heal, recover some good flora in his gut, etc? Our naturopath said no, but I have a hard time believing this. Thanks for any help you can offer!

There is a lot of good data out there on this being useful but hardly anyone supports it in the U.S. – too confrontive of the cultural paradigm.
