Polygonum multiforum in black bean sauce okay to take?

Dear Stephen,
Is polygonum multiforum prepared in black bean sauce okay to take as part of the protocol? I bought some capsules from Ron Teegarden’s company thinking they were the same species of Japanese knotweed, but they are not.

Stephen’s response:
You can use it, but I don’t think it as good as wildcrafted root which is what I tend to recommend now (when I wrote the book, there were no other sources other than resveratrol). Green Dragon Botanicals is who I recommend for capsules, Healing Spirits Herb Farm for those who want the organic root.
Stephen

This protocol was incredible. After only a few weeks most of my symptoms were gone. After six months all my symptoms were gone… it has given me my life back.
