Dear Stephen,
We have started our 9 year old son on the protocol for lyme and co-infections. Bartonella is his main co-infection. L-arginine is listed as part of the bartonella protocol. Do you also recommend it as part of the protocol for children? If so, would the dose be proportionally smaller as with the herbs? Thank you for your work.

Stephen’s response:
There is not a lot of information on L-arginine for children under 18, most sources suggest it not be used. The best alternative approach is high arginine foods. Here is a good site: http://www.healthline.com/health/healthy-high-arginine-foods#2

This protocol was incredible. After only a few weeks most of my symptoms were gone. After six months all my symptoms were gone… it has given me my life back.
