Dear Stephen,
I am a practicing homeopath, (Paul Herscu trained), in Charlotte, Vermont and have chronic lyme, untreated for 16 yrs and was treated two years ago under the care of Dr. Jeff Wulfman. I first tried the Cowden Protocol with mild to zero success. Jeff put me on Zithromax and Rifampin along with Bolouke and many other support supplements. I also did the herbal Lyme Tea, levels I,II,III and have followed many of the protocols in your book. I am hugely better overall, but now treat and diagnose so many lyme patients, it is almost overwhelming. I am writing to inquire where I might purchase the lyme nosode? Or any other treatments you have found to be effective. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for your book, Healing Lyme. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. Namaste.

Stephen’s response:
If you just Google lyme nosode or lyme nosode drops, a number of suppliers will come up. I don’t have a preference. Most of the herbs I suggest can be bought in one form or another from: greendragonbotranicals.comwoodlandessence.com, and 1stchineseherbs.com. (and thanks for your kind words)
Stephen

Stephen Harrod Buhner was an Earth poet and an award-winning author of twenty-four books on nature, indigenous cultures, the environment, and herbal medicine including the acclaimed book Healing Lyme: Natural Healing & Prevention of Lyme Borreliosis & Its Co-infections.

Stephen came from a long line of healers including Leroy Burney, Surgeon General of the United States under Eisenhower and Kennedy, and Elizabeth Lusterheide, a midwife and herbalist who worked in rural Indiana in the early nineteenth century. The greatest influence on his work, however, was his great-grandfather C.G. Harrod who primarily used botanical medicines, also in rural Indiana, when he began his work as a physician in 1911.

Stephen’s work has appeared or been profiled in publications throughout North America and Europe including Common Boundary, Apotheosis, Shaman’s Drum, The New York Times, CNN, and Good Morning America. Stephen lectured yearly throughout the United States on herbal medicine, the sacredness of plants, the intelligence of Nature, and the states of mind necessary for successful habitation of Earth.

He was a tireless advocate for the reincorporation of the exploratory artist, independent scholar, amateur naturalist, and citizen scientist in American society – especially as a counterweight to the influence of corporate science and technology.

This protocol was incredible. After only a few weeks most of my symptoms were gone. After six months all my symptoms were gone… it has given me my life back.

    re: lyme nosode topic
I was wondering as you indicated you have had lyme for 16 years if you had tried Buhner’s herbs. I had a consultation with Julie and she has put me on about 6-7 different herbs. I dont actually know how long I have to be on them, but I hope to become symptom free. I was just curious since you indicated you tried the Cowden protocol without success IF you had tried Stephen Buhner’s protocol and actually in addition spoke to Julie to fine tune the basic protocol (cats claw, japanese knotwood and andriographis) with others more specific for your symptoms? I had never heard of the lyme nosode, but that seems more like it’s to help prevent future tick bite infections.

My brother has been suffering from Lyme disease for a few years. He was given antibiotics and various other medications – without success. A friend of mine just returned from Germany bringing back a bottle of Borrella Nosode. You cannot purchase this homeopathic medicine neither in Canada nor the U.S.A. I hope it will help my brother, at least then e can order more from Germany.
