Aggressive parasite infection with lyme

by | Dec 23, 2012 | Co-Infections, parasite infections | 5 comments

Dear Stephen,
I’ve had lyme for years, very compromised immune system, just recently got an insanely aggressive parasite from undercooked salmon and it is responding to none of the herbals or drugs I’ve tried so far, and is undermining my health drastically. I’m at a loss… what can one do in this situation? Many thanks.

Stephen’s response:
See the new edition of Herbal Antibiotics. I would suggest a beginning approach of any berberine plant (goldenseal, etc.) tincture and black walnut hull tincture. 2 parts barberine plant, 1 part walnut hull. ¼ tsp 3-6x daily.

Stephen came from a long line of healers including Leroy Burney, Surgeon General of the United States under Eisenhower and Kennedy, and Elizabeth Lusterheide, a midwife and herbalist who worked in rural Indiana in the early nineteenth century. The greatest influence on his work, however, was his great-grandfather C.G. Harrod who primarily used botanical medicines, also in rural Indiana, when he began his work as a physician in 1911.

This protocol was incredible. After only a few weeks most of my symptoms were gone. After six months all my symptoms were gone… it has given me my life back.

    Dear Mr. Buhner,

I am writing from Germany and and want to ask you this question:

I suffer on Lyme 3rd level and Rickettsiosis, cronic level, too.

Because doctors did not check that for 20 years…!!! in the meanwhile I am on my way in the direction of Multiple Sklerosis. My immune system attacks my muscels.

But I am still convienced, that I can overcome my illness! Although it needs a lot of time and I have to be patient.

I bought your book about the treatment of bacterial infections and I make your Lyme protocoll like said on his website here.
    Started 2 weeks ago.

But nowhere I did find a suggestion how to treat the Rickettsia best.
Which herbs are the best for the Lyme AND Rickettsia?

Do you have any recommendations, please?? I have to “fight” against the bacterias but keep an eye on it not to boost my immunesystem too much because of the
    “auto immune” complications (MS)

Would be great if you have time to write back to me!

Thanks a lot and hearty greetings from me,

    Ulrike

Hi Ulrike, If you have been diagnosed with MS and/or Lyme you might find that Mercury poisoning or some other form of heavy metal toxicity is at the root of your illness. Lyme treatment is obviously important, but it seems that many people with Lyme find they cannot regain health until they address heavy metal poisoning. Do you have access to facebook? If you’re curious, I suggest joining the “Andy Cutler Chelation: Safe Mercury and Heavy Metal Detox” group. There are several people there who have reversed their MS diagnosis with heavy metal chelation. Andy Cutler’s method is the safest heavy metal detox out there…most heavy metal detoxes recommended by physicians or health “gurus” can be quite dangerous and just make you worse…The first step would be to do a hairtest to check for heavy metal issues…All the info you need is in the group. I’m no doctor, but I have many neurological lyme symptoms am healing from heavy metal poisoning with this protocol; as are many others. Might be worth looking into. All the best as you fight for healing.

    Hello Admin
I have searched for this book online you mention above:
The one you want to check is “Healing Lyme: Natural Healing of Lyme Borreliosis and the Coinfections Chlamydia and Spotted Fever Rickettsiosis, 2nd Edition“. There should be information on how to heal the Rickettsiosis in that book. Best, Julie

I need herbal treatment for my child’s Rickettsia and find nothing on the internet – I am already giving her the core protocol for Lyme and she’s already done 2 rounds of doxy.
Any leads on which herbs to add for Rickettsia appreciated – it shows up in her blood still.

Yes, that’s the book — did you read it? The information you are looking for can be found on pages 328-332. It’s quite detailed.
