with Stephen Harrod Buhner, master herbalist
I’ve tried both the Source Natural resveratrol and Plum Flowers Hu Zhang and both give me sleep disabling hot flashes. Is that because of their phytoestrogens knocking my stronger estrogens off? I’m on bioidentical estrogen because of low estradiol and symptoms. I am concerned that I can’t do the core protocol because of this reaction. I do tolerate andrographis, cat’s claw and stephania fine. I have neurolyme and muscle / joint symptoms. Thank you for your help.
Stephen’s response:
Stephania is the best thing to substitute for knotweed so I would just continue with that.
