Dear Stephen,
I have had a problem with my sinuses for over a year and up till now it has not cleared. I am on antibiotics again for 10 days. It has been only 4 weeks since I finished a treatment of 5 weeks Zithromax (3 days antibiotics, 4 days nothing). I can say I always get better on antibiotics. Within the past 3 months on antibiotics although my sinus problem did not clear I stopped having headaches, fatigue, muscle pain, eye ache, my sleep is normal, my anxiety is gone. Only the pressure or ache time to time on the side of my heart remains. I did testing on Chlamydia pneumonia. IgA was 0.95 and IgG was 3.079. The sample was negative. Yet the cough remains and my sinus problem, too. One more thing, my nails are yellowish.

Stephen’s response:
I would suggest 30 days of sida acuta tincture, ¼ tsp 3x daily (woodlandessence.com). For the sinus pressure I would use SINUS by HEEL. Here is a link: http://www.amazon.com/Bhi-Heel-Sinus-100-Tablet/dp/B0055FHAA8. It works really well for some people.

Stephen Harrod Buhner was an Earth poet and an award-winning author of twenty-four books on nature, indigenous cultures, the environment, and herbal medicine including the acclaimed book Healing Lyme: Natural Healing & Prevention of Lyme Borreliosis & Its Co-infections.

Stephen came from a long line of healers including Leroy Burney, Surgeon General of the United States under Eisenhower and Kennedy, and Elizabeth Lusterheide, a midwife and herbalist who worked in rural Indiana in the early nineteenth century. The greatest influence on his work, however, was his great-grandfather C.G. Harrod who primarily used botanical medicines, also in rural Indiana, when he began his work as a physician in 1911.

Stephen’s work has appeared or been profiled in publications throughout North America and Europe including Common Boundary, Apotheosis, Shaman’s Drum, The New York Times, CNN, and Good Morning America. Stephen lectured yearly throughout the United States on herbal medicine, the sacredness of plants, the intelligence of Nature, and the states of mind necessary for successful habitation of Earth.

He was a tireless advocate for the reincorporation of the exploratory artist, independent scholar, amateur naturalist, and citizen scientist in American society – especially as a counterweight to the influence of corporate science and technology.

This protocol was incredible. After only a few weeks most of my symptoms were gone. After six months all my symptoms were gone… it has given me my life back.

    Hello Stephen,
I have had sinus problems for years; just had my second sinus surgery to remove nasal polyps and they also found fungus and staph inside. I have been on antibiotics for the past six weeks (Augmentin and Bactrin) and do sinus rinses with salt water 3x a day. I still have yellowish mucous and facial pain. I feel very hopeless at times and hope you can offer some suggestions.
    Thanks,
    Noah
