Dear Stephen,
I have had a huge improvement after treating lyme and bartonella with your lyme protocol. I used it along with antibiotics but the real improvement began when I started the herb protocol. However I suffer also from fungal infection – Aspergillus fumigatus located in my sinuses. I have headaches and my eyelids swell which are probably connected to this fungal infection. Chemical agents like itraconazole and inhalations with nystatin didn’t help a lot. Voricanozle is ridiculously expensive with no guarantee of recovery. Do you know of any strong herbal medicine that is active against mold fungus like aspergillus? I used capryl and undecylenic acids before but I’m afraid that their penetration (after oral application) to sinuses is too low.
Stephen’s response:
I have a depth treatment for aspergillus in the new edition of the
Herbal Antibiotics book, the second edition, out this past summer.

Stephen came from a long line of healers including Leroy Burney, Surgeon General of the United States under Eisenhower and Kennedy, and Elizabeth Lusterheide, a midwife and herbalist who worked in rural Indiana in the early nineteenth century. The greatest influence on his work, however, was his great-grandfather C.G. Harrod who primarily used botanical medicines, also in rural Indiana, when he began his work as a physician in 1911.
Stephen’s work has appeared or been profiled in publications throughout North America and Europe including Common Boundary, Apotheosis, Shaman’s Drum, The New York Times, CNN, and Good Morning America. Stephen lectured yearly throughout the United States on herbal medicine, the sacredness of plants, the intelligence of Nature, and the states of mind necessary for successful habitation of Earth.
He was a tireless advocate for the reincorporation of the exploratory artist, independent scholar, amateur naturalist, and citizen scientist in American society – especially as a counterweight to the influence of corporate science and technology.

Hi Stephen,
Thanks for all your work on these topics.
I have purchased your book after reading the above post and trying to find help – for systemic Aspergillus infection (no lyme)5 years with minimal improvement with medications -only bad herx. How long do you anticipate the protocol is needed for? Is there herx reaction expected similar to medications? Any other reading/ guidance would be appreciated. Thankyou
Cath
Hi Cath did try the protocol? Any results?
The link shared in Stevens answer doesn’t work
His book is available on Amazon, which does list the protocol for Asp. It is his Herbal Antibiotics book.
CIRS protocol has a nasal spray that is all natural and kills spores in nasal cavity.
