Okay to take pain narcotics with Buhner herbs?

Dear Stephen,
My mother has lyme and babseia. Arthritis has destroyed her knees. She is planning on having both knees replaced, but needs to clear the lyme first. She has been on antibiotics and pain narcotics (hydrocodone) for 2 years and is not improving. She is starting your herbal protocol. Is it okay to take the herbs with pain narcotics and antibiotics?
Stephen’s response:
Yes it is. You might try the addition of kudzu root tincture for the pain, it can sometimes do wonders, 1/4-1/2 tsp 3x daily.
Stephen

This protocol was incredible. After only a few weeks most of my symptoms were gone. After six months all my symptoms were gone… it has given me my life back.

Stephen, does the kudzu root (non-alcohol) cause any amount of herx? My son is barely surviving just taking the cats claw.

    Hi Stephen
Can I take the lyme protocol and doxycycline at the same time? Overall, How long should one stay on the protocol?
