I have had various tickborne diseases for over 20 years, but I was only diagnosed 7 years ago by a positive test Elisa. My symptoms now are a terribly weak left leg and ankle making it hard to walk. I am very drug sensitive and tend to get every side effect in the book, but my best regime was septra, which makes me 20% stronger almost immediately, plus your knotweed and cats claw in varying amounts. A few months ago I took a month off septra in order to give a homeopathic remedy a chance to work – I was a practicing homeopath for 20 years. It didn’t help. When I went back on the septra and herbs, my mouth got bumps like herpes and then my gland swelled: Coxsackie virus.
Thanks for the comments on the new book, I appreciate it. For the coxsackie use Chinese skullcap (elkmountainherbs.com), isatis (sagewomanherbs.com), and licorice in a tincture blend; 2 parts skullcap, 2 parts isatis (tastes dreadful), 1 part licorice. ¼-1 sp 3x daily for 30 days. Then drop the licorice out of the formula and continue with just the first two (if necessary). Astragalus is also good for that virus.
What part of the isatis Polygonum tinctorium plant do you use the leaf or the root?
i know this is an old post, and i would like to think that by now your symptoms have cleared, but just wondering whether you tried actually administering cocksackie virus in potency? it works wonders with epstien barr layer resulting in fatigue+++
hello hey hi, wondering how to get over Cocksackie virus (which has been giving me a terrible perianal itch for years).
what else could this symptom be related to?
at the moment also dealing with Chlamydia pneumoniae
(persisten cough)
+
Borrelia burgdorferi and borderline Ehrlichia.
have been taking the following (Burbur Pinella, Samento, Stevia, Taken, Houttuynia, Artemisia SOD, Transfer Factor Multi-Immune, Transfer Factor PlasMyc)but thinking of switching or modulating the treatment according to Stephen suggestions…… what’s your suggestion? thanks!
Hi Stephen,
I have a family member with some Coxsackie virus problems and found this thread. I notice you recommend Chinese skullcap here and I also saw in your book that Japanese Knotweed “strongly inhibited” coxsackie A and B viruses as well as a host of others.
Can you advise which of the two is the more effective herb against these strains?
Also, have there been any implications that the coxsackie virus is a contributing factor in autism?
Could really use some guidance.
Thanks much!
What about vaccines that you’ve had over the years? I have a friend whose son developed Cocksackie after vaccines. I have wondered about vaccines in general as they are all filled with dead or love bacteria/ viruses.
Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride GAPS, has some excellent information on , among other gut related diseases, autism.
It’s been a while since your post, so I hope you’re feeling better.
Regarding the itch, are you sure the itch is caused by coxsackie, and if so do you know what strain(s) you have? I ask because there’s a parasite that causes your exact symptom. You probably already checked (I think it’s pinworms?) but I thought I’d mention it just in case.
Hello, my daughter has autism and her blood work came back with coxsackie b virus. In October 2016 she developed lyme disease. Had all the symptoms and the rash. But the test came back negative for lyme disease. She also now has a complete heart block. She was not borne with it. I believe it is cause by the coxsackie virus or lyme disease. Could you please let me know which herb would work best? Thank you.
